BARCELONA-BREDA STUDENT EXCHANGE 2007-2008
The English Department organized the Student Exchange to Breda (The Netherlands) for the second time. 17 students from Icària who had attended classes of subjects in content-based learning (CLIL) for three years took part in the exchange. The 17 Dutch students had also followed their studies in English as a means of communication in content-based learning.
From 26th February to 3rd March, 17 students and two teachers from Icària School spent a wonderful week together with our Dutch friends . Then, from 3rd to 10th April our friends from Breda came to Barcelona to spend a week with us. You can read some of our diaries here . ENJOY IT!!!

RESEARCH PROJECT
This research project on ICT and cognitive skills was possible thanks to a research grant from the Department of Education , Generalitat de Catalunya. It was carried out from september 2006 to september 2007 and directed by Doctor Cristina Escobar from UAB. It was made in collaboration with research group CLIL-SI and under ARIE projects
